September 16 - Sundance!

Our first short film In Heroic Fashion is on its way to Sundance! It's about time. In the last few months I (Erick) have moved from PA to LA to CT to NY. Alex has been in New Zealand and now we're finally in our new pad in the city. It's pretty sweet.

That being said, we're in the same geographic location for the first time in over a year. Most of the planning and pre/post production was done while we were away at separate schools. It'll be nice to be in the same apartment so we can get things done.

It has been amazing seeing the film (shot in PA) put together with the music (recorded in LA) and sound (mixed/recorded in FL). All I can say is that I'm almost beside myself with excitement for our next project, whatever it may be. (We have a few ideas, stay tuned...)

We will be finally have a wrap party in the next month or so where we'll have the cast and crew up to see the film for the first time. I'm sure they'll be blown away by how things have come together.

Also, we've uncovered the behind-the-scenes footage from our November shoot. Neither Alex or I have even seen this so I'll be fun to look through it and put a little video together for the site.

Things are starting to rev up again and I'm excited. Yesterday I decided to quit my second job to focus on View From the Hill and it is all I can do to try and sit still. I promise good things to come as our projects improve from the experience we've gained.

And if you're wondering what's coming next...all I'll say is there's a poster of the lost treasure of the world in front of me...Alex and I both love to travel...hmm...
